Tech & Innovation Consultant
Iām a professional Electrical Engineer who specialized in Software Engineer. Having worked for a leading governmental IT company involved in National Cyber Security, I’ve had the privilege of leading a team of 30+ engineers/developers and realizing more than 15 projects; I’ve also worked as a Senior Software Architect, designing and developing location-based systems.
Community Builder
I, together with my team, have co-founded, setup and run various community centered initiatives including Chewata Awaqi (a startup that specializes in gamethingking), the Ethiopian Games Associations, Efuyegela Publishers, EnterAfrica (an Afro-futuristic pan-african ecosystem building initiative by the Goethe Institut across 15 african countries), Chewatacon (the first ever gaming festival of its kind), 100Shama (a community for nurturing the 4C of the 21st century), D5, Positive Thinkers Club, Kaza Gamenights and PugaumeTalks
Game Thinker
A Game Thinking lead at Enter Africa and also a Co-founder of Chewata Awaqi which aims to cure the world with Game Thinking.
Game thinking incorporates the use of games, gamification and playful design for the betterment of human lives, put smiles on people’s faces.
Speaker at A Maze 2019 and Gamescom 2017/19 and , I believe Game Thinking is the most important weapon in the fight against the Social Depression and āPassivityā that our world is currently in.

Iām a serial entrepreneur with a passion for helping societies solve their own problems and I strive to contribute to the social well-being of my community. Founded Gursha.org, a social enterprise with the aim of aiding societies to solve their issues using already existing indigenous remedies.
